I purchased two 'Sensitive' Pure Bristle Brushes. Both my sister and I who have fine hair, felt our hair should be 'less stressed' after brushing previously. We are very happy with the results from our Mason Pearson brushes and our hair is looking and feeling much healthier.

My first Mason Pearson

I've never used a boar bristle brush and wasn't in the market for one. However, a kind friend heard me lament the slow but continual loss of my hair as I "gracefully" age and suggested I try one of the Mason Pearson brushes offered at Tressence.com.
"I don't brush my hair because it'll fall out," I told him. He persisted and I decided to give the brush a chance. Normally, while hair drying, I use a round plastic brush only to tuck under the ends of my hair in a 'bob' or 'page-boy' style. I've been afraid to brush my hair from the scalp outward.
I contacted Tressence.com, and am now the proud owner of a Mason Pearson boar bristle brush. In an odd way, it's helped me 'reconnect' with the beauty of my brown but graying locks instead of always worrying about the strands that fly away.
I brush my hair every morning and it feels wonderful to do so. Perhaps that increases the circulation up top. I'm not noticing any increase in hair loss, perhaps even less fallout. I feel like I have to make up for lost time; it's been so long since I really brushed my hair with a real brush.
Thank you to my friend and to Tressence.com, a website I would do business with again, anytime. The site and service was user friendly, quick and professional. The brush is handsome, the handle smooth to the touch and quite nice. I expect to use it for a long time.

Good Brush

Tressence did a very fast delivery! I am beginning to have thinning hair, so I bought the sensitive version. But honestly, I do not know how different is the sensitive brush vs the others. The brush itself is good, and does a good job massaging the scalp when I brush my hair. Unlike some other brushes, it doesn't hurt my scalp even if I am a bit heavy handed. And I like that it comes with a cleaning brush for easy maintenance/washing. Thanks!
